Do Good Days: Service projects that matter.
Tuesday, July 7, 2026 | 2:30 – 4 pm | Kansas City Hospice House
We are inviting community volunteers to help us create meaningful “All About Me” boards for our hospice patients.
These boards are a special way to honor each patient as an individual—highlighting their life story, interests, favorite things, and what matters most to them. They help our care team connect more personally, while also bringing comfort to patients and their families by celebrating who they are beyond their illness.
Volunteers will assist in designing and assembling these boards using provided materials. Information will be shared respectfully by staff, and volunteers will transform it into a visual tribute filled with warmth, dignity, and care.
No experience necessary
Please contact Bonnie Krause, KCHH Volunteer Coordinator at bkrause@KCHospice.org or 816.663.2204 with questions or to get involved.
Do Good Days are monthly service project opportunities designed for individuals and community groups who want to give back in a meaningful way. This includes students (14+) seeking community service hours, as well as employer or community groups that are not registered hospice volunteers.
Important Notes:
- All activities are NON-PATIENT FACING and focus on supporting our patients, families, and care providers.
- Project supplies are provided.
- Please sign up only for tasks that you or your group can complete within the scheduled time.
- If verification of hours is needed, bring document to the event.
Your time and effort truly make a difference. Thank you for helping us create an environment of care, comfort, and compassion for our patients, families, and care providers.
