Do Good Days: Service projects that matter.

We invite members of our community to share comfort and kindness through baking at Kansas City Hospice House.
Freshly baked treats bring more than just nourishment—they offer warmth, familiarity, and a sense of home for our patients, families, and staff. Whether it’s cookies, muffins, breads, or other simple favorites, these small acts of care can make a meaningful difference during a difficult time.
Volunteers are welcome to bake in our kitchen or prepare items ahead of time to bring in and share. This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals, families, church groups, or community organizations to give back.
Baking supplies provided, unless you have a specific recipe or baked treat you want to make.

Do Good Days are monthly service project opportunities designed for individuals and community groups who want to give back in a meaningful way. This includes students (14+) seeking community service hours, as well as employer or community groups that are not registered hospice volunteers.
Important Notes:
- All activities are NON-PATIENT FACING and focus on supporting our patients, families, and care providers.
- Project supplies are provided.
- Please sign up only for tasks that you or your group can complete within the scheduled time.
- If verification of hours is needed, bring document to the event.
