Do Good Days: Service projects that matter.

In celebration of Nurses Week, we are inviting our community to help us honor the incredible nurses who provide compassionate care each and every day at Kansas City Hospice House.
Through simple chalk drawings and heartfelt messages along our sidewalks, we will create a colorful path of gratitude—welcoming our nurses with words of encouragement, appreciation, and love. All are welcome to participate—individuals, families, and groups.
Join us as we “chalk the walk” with gratitude and celebrate the heart of hospice care—our nurses. 💙
If it rains, we will cancel the event 2 hours prior to start time of 4:30 pm.
All supplies are provided. | Skills: No experience is necessary | Please remember you will not have contact with patients for this activity.

Do Good Days are monthly service project opportunities designed for individuals and community groups who want to give back in a meaningful way. This includes students (14+) seeking community service hours, as well as employer or community groups that are not registered hospice volunteers.
Important Notes:
- All activities are NON-PATIENT FACING and focus on supporting our patients, families, and care providers.
- Project supplies are provided.
- Please sign up only for tasks that you or your group can complete within the scheduled time.
- If verification of hours is needed, bring document to the event.
