Every day, Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care surrounds families with compassion, dignity, and expert care during life’s most tender moments. Standing quietly behind that care is a devoted group of recurring donors who make it all possible. We call them our Sustaining Angels.
By giving monthly or quarterly, Sustaining Angels provide reliable support helping ensure patients and families continue receiving care, comfort, and guidance when they need it most. These donors form a compassionate community committed to our mission, month after month, year after year.
This ongoing support helps:
- Empower compassionate care by supporting the work of our skilled teams of nurses, physicians, chaplains, social workers, CNAs and volunteers.
- Enhance comfort and quality of life through pain management, spiritual support, therapies, and grief counseling.
- Expand access to care so more families receive help, regardless of their financial situation.
Even modest gifts make a big difference:
- $10/month helps cover basic needs for families under stress.
- $25/month helps provide specialized equipment for children in pediatric hospice.
- $50/month provides grief counseling to a family through Solace House.
For many of our Sustaining Angels, this giving is deeply personal. 
“The nurses at Kansas City Hospice House™ truly are angels in God’s waiting room,” says Teresa Brown, who gives monthly in memory of her husband.
“I feel my contributions help continue the care and support the real angels provide daily,” adds Kenny Hunt, whose wife was cared for at Kansas City Hospice House.
